Research Study Therapist

The Hollings Survivorship and Cancer Outcomes Research Program is seeking a master’s level clinical or counseling psychologist (MA), Licensed Social Worker (LISW), or Professional Counselor (LPC) to work in a team environment on clinical trials that use manualized cognitive-behavioral interventions (e.g., behavioral activation, dialectical behavioral therapy) to treat adult cancer survivors with psychosocial disorders (e.g., depression, body image distress, etc). In this capacity, the candidate will provide evidence-based individual therapy to research participants per protocol (ex: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).

Cancer Science Research Faculty Member

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Basic and Translational Science faculty member to join our dynamic and growing team within the MUSC Department of Surgery. This position has a focus on cancer biology processes such as tumor microenvironment, metastatic management, and cell-based therapy. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role working with surgeon scientists to advance translation of biomolecular and pathophysiologic experimentation to advance patient care principles. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and lead or co-lead innovative research.

Associate Director of Population Sciences

Serving on the senior leadership team of Hollings, the successful candidate will build and develop the cancer center’s nationally recognized research in population sciences with the aim of reducing the cancer burden on its 46-county catchment area, which includes significant Black and growing Hispanic/Latino communities, low-income communities, and communities residing in rural locations, as well as older adults and those who are under-resourced economically.

The AD will bring an extensive track record as a federally-funded investigator focused on population-based cancer research, ideally in cancer epidemiology, a collaborative approach to leadership, and a management style that supports the mentoring of junior investigators.
