The MUSC Wellness Center Prostate Cancer Survivors Strength Camp is a comprehensive 10-week wellness program for prostate cancer survivors that provides support for overall fitness and well-being. The program is sponsored by Hollings Cancer Center, making it free for qualified participants. Strength Camp is a group-based program that meets twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:30-2 p.m.) for 90-minute sessions that incorporate educational lectures and group exercise classes. This program can support up to 12 survivors each session.
The primary focus of this program is to build physical strength and aerobic stamina while incorporating a support system that allows one to build confidence enhancing one’s sense of self.

Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.

Strength Camp 2 (Phase 2 Prostate Cancer Survivors Strength Camp)
Strength Camp 2 is a continuation program for prostate cancer survivors who have previously completed the MUSC Wellness Centers’ Prostate Cancer Survivors' Strength Camp.
The goal of this program is to continue to support local survivors with an ongoing fitness program designed to accommodate all levels. The program will provide participants with a safe and supportive environment to maintain the strength and physical stamina gained while participating in Survivors' Strength Camp. This program will meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30-9:30 a.m.. Each class will run for 60 minutes and include aspects of functional and strength training as well as aerobic conditioning.

Oct. 13- Dec. 17 (week of Thanksgiving off)
*This class is open only to prostate cancer survivors who have completed Strength Camp; a physician clearance form is not required.
