GMaP Community Health Educators

Community Health Educators (CHEs) are individuals experienced in communications, comprehensive cancer control, training, program planning, and evaluation. They are an integral part of cancer health disparities-related community education and outreach efforts throughout the region.   • A 4.5-hour Train the Trainer evidence-based cancer education program conducted with small groups.
  • A 1-hour module describing the relationship between cervical cancer and HPV vaccination.
  • A 1-hour colorectal cancer screening education module based on the National Cancer Institute’s Screen to Save campaign.
