Precision Health Research Program

The Precision Health Research Program, led by Caitlin Allen, Ph.D., MPH, applies implementation science methods to develop, deliver and evaluate precision health and genomic interventions alongside our community partners.

Dr. Allen is faculty within the Department of Public Health Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and a member of the Cancer Prevention & Control Program within MUSC Hollings Cancer Center, a National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center.

She is also the Assistant Director of the Dissemination and Implementation Science Collaborative at MUSC and Director of Research Training for MUSC’s Genetic Counseling program. The Precision Health Research Program’s studies have been funded by the National Cancer Institute, National Human Genome Research Institute and the National Center for Advancing Translational Science.
